Nazar is 17 years old. He is an active and diligent assistant in two Day Centers located in the city of Khmelnytskyi. His journey with ministry started with a Christian summer camp in 2019. It was his first time attending a camp, and he enjoyed it incredibly. Later that year, at the post-camp meeting, all interested children were invited to the Day Center, and Nazar also expressed his desire to attend and started participating in the meetings.

In the Day Center, Nazar made new friends, did his homework, improved his studies, and most importantly, as he notes, he learned who God truly is. He participated in the activities for two years until the war broke out in Ukraine, and the Day Center’s operations were halted. Later, a new team was formed, and Nazar’s friends invited him to assist with meetings and work with children.

Nazar immediately enjoyed the opportunity, having already gained some experience from attending the meetings as a participant. Thus, it was not difficult for him to become one of the leaders. The Lord has endowed Nazar with organizational skills, and he enjoys serving and developing them. He particularly likes working with children, and he does it exceptionally well. In the future, Nazar plans to continue working with Day Centers and helping children transform their lives.

Friends are a treasure that we always carry with us, and new acquaintances are windows to the world of unforgettable adventures and memories. In our group of day care centers, we are always happy to make new acquaintances and opportunities to strengthen our relationships. Recently, we had the honor of meeting the children’s centers “VitoClub” and “Emilchyno” at an introductory meeting on the topic “Check your foundation”. 65 teenagers came together to enjoy socializing, fun games and crafts, and our delicious lunch. Victor Ovsiychuk, responsible for the Emilchyno сhildrens` centre, spoke about how a strong foundation is important for our lives, and Jesus Christ can become this foundation. We were glad to share experiences and to pray together for further ministry for children and teenagers. It was a truly unforgettable meeting that strengthened our relationships and enriched our hearts!

This meeting with the teenagers was a reminder for us that our relationships with friends are extremely important, and a strong foundation built on love and faith in Christ is the basis for a happy and eternal life. We are very grateful to the “VitoClub” and “Emilchyno” children’s centers for this opportunity to meet and spend time together. It was incredibly important for our group and we are looking forward to the next meeting, because we realized that for us new acquaintances can be very interesting and even grow into real friendships. We know that friends are those who will support you in a difficult moment, share joy, and help make your dreams come true. We are glad to have had the opportunity to meet such a wonderful group of people and look forward to the next meeting to continue building our strong relationships and getting to know the Lord together.

On March 13, 2023, the “Happy Day” day center in Volyn celebrated its sixth anniversary. Sadly, last year’s festivities were canceled due to the ongoing war, but this year our team was determined to mark this small milestone and create unforgettable memories for our children.

More than 45 children and staff members were present at the celebration, and everyone put their best foot forward to make it an unforgettable event. We began with prayers, worship, and welcoming remarks from the pastor, as we thanked the Lord for guiding, blessing, and protecting us for the past six years.

Then we reminisced about the center’s various highlights over the years through a special newscast. The children played engaging and fun games, took photos, chatted, and just enjoyed their time together.

However, the most exciting part of the event was the awards ceremony, where each child received a special recognition and a gift. Later on, we all indulged in a sweet treat of a delicious cake. It was truly a day to remember!

We are grateful to the Lord and all the organizers for the fact that the children left the event with happy moods and positive emotions. The team believes that this event will remain a pleasant childhood memory for the children. We pray for all visitors of the day center and hope that every day of their lives is filled with happiness and blessings from God.
