On March 13, 2023, the “Happy Day” day center in Volyn celebrated its sixth anniversary. Sadly, last year’s festivities were canceled due to the ongoing war, but this year our team was determined to mark this small milestone and create unforgettable memories for our children.
More than 45 children and staff members were present at the celebration, and everyone put their best foot forward to make it an unforgettable event. We began with prayers, worship, and welcoming remarks from the pastor, as we thanked the Lord for guiding, blessing, and protecting us for the past six years.
Then we reminisced about the center’s various highlights over the years through a special newscast. The children played engaging and fun games, took photos, chatted, and just enjoyed their time together.
However, the most exciting part of the event was the awards ceremony, where each child received a special recognition and a gift. Later on, we all indulged in a sweet treat of a delicious cake. It was truly a day to remember!
We are grateful to the Lord and all the organizers for the fact that the children left the event with happy moods and positive emotions. The team believes that this event will remain a pleasant childhood memory for the children. We pray for all visitors of the day center and hope that every day of their lives is filled with happiness and blessings from God.
