One of the principles of Youth for Christ Ukraine is “with the church, for the church and through the church”. Our team is always happy to help churches start a social ministry called “Day Center” for children and families in difficult situations.
This time YFC coordinators visited a very active, energetic, spiritual church in Obukhiv, Kyiv region. They met with a powerful team of ministers and conducted a seminar “Day Center from A to Z”.
One woman’s testimony impressed us during this training. She ministers to women 60+ and did not even understand why she came to the event. But later she realized that God wanted to involve her and her church sisters in this ministry. So that they could hug the children, help them, and thus feel needed. 🧑🧑🧒🧒
Social ministry, especially the Day Center, unites the church and helps it serve together in one direction.
We thank God for this opportunity and pray for the future of the Day Center in the church in Obukhiv.
