Would you aggree that crisis of leadership causes always crisis of followers? And of course crisis of followers causes crisis of leadership.

Having analyzed current situation in the world, in churches, we see a strong need for devoted leaders. There is a saying that if devil fails to keep a person from repentance, he tries hard to keep him/her from spiritual growth. If he fails to keep a person from this too, he tries to keep this human being from practical ministry. And finally if he fails in this too, he tries to keep him/her from leadership.

Today as never before there is a great need in strong Christian leaders.

What Jesus has done is inestimable and majestic! He gave us something NOBODY ELSE on earth could give to mankind that is Salvation. But at the same time He was also a very good Leader influencing others! Look what He said to all of us:

"The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." (Mt.9:37,38)

Apostle Paul has done a lot in God’s name and for His church. But one of the principles of his life is a responsibility for training of leaders.

Him we proclaim, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man mature in Christ. (Col.1:28)

“And what you have heard from me before many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. (2Tim.2:2)

Analyzing these passages, you understand that health of youth ministry, health of churches depends on deeply devoted to God and ministry leaders. And that’s why we want very much to devote all this year to be good leaders and teach others to be devoted, responsible leaders in ministries to which our God called us.

There is no need to convince you that today our churches and organizations need strong and devoted leaders.

“Million Leaders” training course by EQUIP, developed by John C. Maxwell is one of the best available resources to train leaders today. The training consists of six levels and is intended for three years (two conferences a year). At every conference participants receive workbooks consisting of six lessons. Every workbook includes three spheres of training:
1 and 2 are directed at spiritual lessons
3 and 4 are directed at training of leader skills
5 and 6 are the lessons of strategic training

The principle of training: Every person trained at first conference, receives from ten to twenty five blank workbooks. When he comes back home, for five months he tells studied material to other potential leaders of his team, teaching them bases of Biblical leadership. At conference of the next level, he learns new material, gives information about trained leaders and in return receives next workbook.
