CHILDREN IN THE DAY CENTER "HAPPY DAY" LEARNED TO BE ALWAYS THANKFUL

During school holidays in fall at the Day Center “Happy Day” (situated in Kovel city) was held a special meeting devoted to the Thanksgiving. The leaders encouraged 30 children to thank God for what they already have and motivated them to pray for those who, unfortunately, don`t have it.

20 KIDS FROM DAY CENTER COMPLETED THE LEARNING COURSE ‘THE BIGGEST ADVENTURE’

Starting from May 5, the kids from the DC, that is called "Beehive of Kids` Dreams” started the program ‘THE BIGGEST ADVENTURE’. It was created by Samaritan`s Purse Organization. On August 31, 20 kids became graduates of this learning course. They visited 36 meetings, covered a learning book, that consists of 96 pages, and learned 12 exciting stories about various essential values.

SOCIAL EVENT “ARE YOU HUNGRY?”

An amazing social event has been organised by the children, who visit Day Center in Lutsk, to help the citizens. Kids made hamburgers and handed them out to the passers-by. People were extremely grateful and happy to feel that someone cares about them. The children were also excited that they had a chance to help others.

YFC E-CAMP: ENGLISH PRACTICE, EXTREME AND LEARNING MORE ABOUT GOD

On August 12 - 17, Youth for Christ organized E-Camp in partnership with Mike Manna (an YFCI Global trainer) and the US team. The camp was called “ Move the Mountains”, and it was held in the facilities of the extreme center “Karabin”. 65 teenagers came from different Day Centers of Kmelnytskyi, Volyn, and Lviv regions. The main message was “God is the One who can move the mountains of our worries, troubles and disappointments.”

DAY CENTER "NAZARETH" HELD AN INTERNATIONAL CAMP

The Day Center "Nazareth" organized a camp in the Carpathians on July 24 - August 6. The DC team, volunteers from Reformed churches, located in Ivano - Frankivsk and Rivne, and the US team took part in conducting the camp. 25 kids, ages 7 to 17, had a chance to improve their health while living in the mountains. Morning and Evening Services were a part of the camp program and children also had Bible studies. They contemplated on the words written in Psalms and sang Christian songs.
